Dating My Husband

I am a lucky girl.  I have a pretty amazing life.  Okay, that might be stretch, but I like it just fine.  I have a roof over my head, a car that runs well, a husband who loves me, and children who actually think I'm cool.

On top of that, I have a family in Kansas who is willing to take the juniors for a week while Justin and I hang out in Omaha.  And that is just what we've been doing.  The technical name for this week is Date Night Extravaganza.  But, as tonight will be the third night of eating out and staying up late, we might be changing the name to, "Ughhhhhhh"  or "I Have the Worst Heartburn".

So please, sit back.  Relax.  Take in the gloriousness of us, doing what we do best: acting like we don't have kids.

What is wrong with us?  Why do we insist on insulting people who seriously take photos like this?  We are beyond cruel.  But also extremely funny.

Is it completely obvious how uncomfortable is making me feel in the photo?  I was trying soooo hard to just smile, but I couldn't concentrate with that serpent of a tongue on the loose.

I love my sweet, sweet Jubby.  I just want to pretend that he will never ever ever have to leave again.  Although that would mean I would get the bed back to myself again.  If there were ever two people that actually needed a king size bed, it would be us.  We suck a sharing.  Except for herpes, we're good at sharing that.  Kidding.  But did I cross the line there?  I feel like my mom might call me out on that one.
