Labor of Love

I finished the children's rooms- go me!  This post will be mostly pictures, so bear with me.  And I'm kind of bummed because it's looking like a few pictures I had didn't make the jump from phone to computer.

*As a side note, JUSTIN:  I took photos with my phone, instead of a real camera.  Don't I deserve a real camera to document my creativity?*  And now we carry on...

Burp Cloths.  I made six, so I'm about 194 short.  I wish I was joking.

Part of the room.  I wish the picture I had of the other wall would have been saved.  I hate you technology.  (The blanket hanging on the crib was made by yours truly.  Thank you, thank you.)

This is a part of the wall I don't have a photo of.  Next to it is a painting of a doll house.  It's really cute, and I'm annoyed you can't see it too.

My work in progress.  I think this photo was actually taken during the FIRST time I had to sew it all together.  In my excitement, I put the batting, backing and quilt in the wrong order.  Turns out that's a kind of important step.

One of the fitted sheets I made.  I have officially declared myself a Master Fitted-Sheet Maker.  I'm currently looking for some type of badge to wear, so that when people see me on the streets they'll show some respect.

I added my own little spice to a cute, but pretty boring lamp I found at Target. Gotta love Target.

The wall of hooks.  I love my hodge-podge hooks.  But I think I am even more in love with that little cardigan.

Extreme close-up of the pillow I made.  I have never felt so crafty in my life.  And I am so sick of seeing that same yellow, purple and red fabric.  It looks good in the room, but if I have to stitch one more inch I'm going to lose it!

And there you have it: my Saturday-Monday in a nutshell.  I don't even have photos of Milo's new room yet.  It's cool and all, but everything is store bought so I feel as though I shouldn't be taking credit for any of it.  But Goose's room?  Yeah, I'll take all that accolades for that one.

In other news, I feel like I should share something else about my life, but I have no clue as to what that should be.  I don't feel like I'm doing a very good job at this whole blog thing.  But I suppose someone out there is enjoying this.  Right...?
